We are educative.io - a Seattle based Edtech startup focused on creating interactive and adaptive learning experiences for software engineers. We are VC funded and profitable. We are looking for developers to jumpstart our engineering team in Lahore. As an early employee, you will work directly with the founders and will have the opportunity to shape the product. As an engineer in an early-stage startup, you will learn a ton.
Requirements:
- Solid understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms.
- Good understanding of Multithreading.
- Proficiency in at least 1 OO programming language, e.g., C++, Python, JavaScript etc.
- Working knowledge of Git.
- Ability to work independently.
- Build and ship new features and systems, with an emphasis on code quality, maintainability, readability, and testing.
- Fluency with software engineering tools.
- Ability to: effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions; deal with loosely defined problems and fast changing requirements & think abstractly.
- Passionate about learning new technologies and working
Good to Have:
- Experience with Google App Engine and Google Cloud.
- Experience in React/Redux.
- Experience with Docker.
- Experience in shipping production quality products using Python.
