We are looking for a software developer who will be responsible for designing, coding and modifying applications, developing and architecting the ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes that enable Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and processing with partners and clients, analyzing various specifications to work in conjunction with reports, interfaces, and mappings provided by data-trading partner. Responsibilities

• Develop new and manage existing EDI data exchange relationships and work with vendors, partners, and clients to define, implement, document, and maintain data exchange files, file specifications, and supporting business processes
• Act as a technical point of contact in support of new and existing data exchange relationships
• Identify, research, communicate, and resolve data processing exceptions
• Define and manage continuous improvement projects and client EDI implementations
• Research, troubleshoot, and resolve data issues impacting extract delivery
• Can work independently and has the ability to handle multiple projects
• Write clean, scalable code programming languages.
• Test and deploy applications and systems.
• Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Must be a very good programmer in web and software technologies.
• Perform other tasks assigned by management.

Qualifications

• 3 + years of experience in using modern technologies such as HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, JS, Angular JS, JQuery, DATABASE (SQL SERVER, MySQL), web programming (ASP.NET, PHP, JQuery, Ajax) and REST API.
• Recent experience with EDI integration and understanding of X12 and EDIFact transactions.
• General knowledge of EDI formats including XML, CSV, X12, EDIFact, Flat File, etc.
• Experience with SQL and the ability to query and manipulate data
• Ability to code moderate to complex SQL stored procedures
• Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in WordPress development.
• Strong understanding of ASP.NET and PHP back-end development.
• Experience in building user interfaces for websites and web applications.
• Experience in Git / Bitbucket / DevOps
• Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks (such as WordPress, Codeignitor, Laravel, Yii, etc.)
• Knowledge of shopping carts e.g.: Magento, WooCommerce, OpenCart is plus.
